Hello! I’m Molly. I’m a creative outlaw willing to think outside the box in order to redefine coloring inside the lines. I’m an original. So are you! Telling your story through authentic design is my love language.

From a young age, I started creating and haven’t stopped. I still have old restaurant menus filled with drawings and sketches that fill me with a sense of bright, youthful wonder. I always tuck a piece of this feeling into how I approach design today.

At the core of my work is an undercurrent of curiosity. There are a million ways to get to a destination – and each way is striking in its’ own singularity. Enjoying and celebrating the process is just as important as the end result. Some of my most meaningful inspiration stems from the ever-changing, inventive fashion world that teaches us “anything goes” in creating who you want to be. Like my love for interior design, pattern, texture and color all work together to pull me into new creative thought-patterns and endeavors.

Espea Design Co. was named after my late Meemaw, whose initials were SP, phonetically spelled Es-pea. She was such a force in every way. She spoke her mind, she was lively, she was spunky, even in her last days.

I like to think I carried over those same characteristics when I started Espea Design Co, and I am so proud that she is part of my life every single day because of it.
